The building entrance is located between the Taverna restaurant and the CIBC bank. It is not the same entrance as the CIBC Bank.

Getting to Our Clinic

We’re located in downtown Saskatoon at:

807 – 201 21st Street East
8th Floor
Saskatoon, SK, S7K 0B8

You can find street parking nearby. Once you enter the building, head to the back of the hallway where you’ll find the elevators. Take the elevator up to the 8th floor. When you arrive, look for our large sign with the Saskatoon Ophthalmology name—you’ll know you’re in the right place.

Checking In

When you arrive at our clinic, please check in at the front desk. You’ll need your health card, and we’ll also ask you to confirm or update your personal and contact information.

Before you see Dr. Masri

After checking in, you’ll be asked to have a seat in our waiting area. Our team will then guide you through any testing that’s required for your visit. This can vary depending on the reason for your appointment and may include:
  • Visual acuity testing
  • Eye pressure checks
  • Scans of the eye
  • Cataract testing
  • And more..
Some of these tests may take place in different rooms, and our friendly technicians will guide you throughout the process.

Pupil Dilation

For many visits, especially those involving certain procedures or detailed eye examinations, your eyes may need to be dilated. If this is required, we usually inform you during your phone confirmation or in your appointment letter.

Even if you weren’t told in advance, it’s a good idea to arrange for someone who could drive you home—as sometimes dilation is decided during your appointment depending on your condition.

Meeting the Doctor

Once your testing is complete, you’ll meet with Dr. Masri to discuss your results and any necessary treatment. He will perform an examination and discuss with you his findings. We offer several in-clinic procedures including:
  • Eye injections
  • SLT (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty)
  • YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) laser capsulotomy
  • Retinal laser treatment
Dr. Masri will explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions you may have.

After Your Appointment

Before leaving, please stop by the front desk to:
  • Book your follow-up appointment
  • Receive instructions if you’re being placed on a surgical waitlist
If surgery is recommended, you’ll meet with one of our surgical coordinators. They will go over surgical options, lens types, and help plan the next steps based on your consultation with Dr. Masri. Our current wait time for cataract surgery is approximately two months, but this will be confirmed during your visit.
